CHAT PILE

Their energetic performance, and lyrics, is like watching a horror scene you don’t want to, but your gaze is somehow fixed in place.

If you, by any odd reason, thought that we would lack bands that serve angry music to listen to as the world is crumbling, you would be wrong.

And if you’ve read anything about the other bands coming to Desertfest with nihilistic subtext, none does it better than Chat Pile.

Not just as a subtext, Chat Pile isn’t afraid of stepping forward, taking the hard road, and giving you the troublesome news directly.

Hard hitting both in sound and lyrics, Chat Pile is the fix we all need, and what some can’t stand. They give you the atom bomb of truths, pointing it at the corrupt, the silent, the murky law-giving men at the top.

Chat Pile is the chainsaw that tries to weed out the bad.

They’re the mirror of society.

Their sound is so unique, that when you go through multiple listens you’ll find something new each time. Like on their last album Cool World, there’s horror elements, eerily downtuned beats, harmonies and guttural shrieks to chill your bones.

Chat Pile continues to give and give.
